Quiet compound in Maguji village on Korisino. Other than during festivals the mountain is uninhabited, apart from the very old who may choose to live out their final years there. Their children climb up regularly to care for them.
Shelter on Korisino. The design is typical for 'guest huts' in northern Nigeria and the two entrances allows for a cooling cross-breeze.
Makuku River during the rainy season. This is the main 'road' to Acipuland from the outside. During the dry season there is no water at all, but after heavy rain it can be impossible to cross in a car.
